|Description:||This upper-level position will be instrumental in helping carry out the organization's mission, values and goals. The position will provide human resources services for the entire Credit Union, with emphasis on compensation and benefits, staffing, and performance management. Additional areas of oversight will include training/development and the maintenance of designated policy/procedure manuals. |
|Duties:||Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:|
Manage the entire staffing process and the administration of all employee benefits according to Credit Union rules and state/federal employment laws. Provide oversight and consultation for salary administration and benefit analysis for all levels of staff. Oversee the employee performance management system and training for all employees. As directed, maintain internal policy and procedure manuals, job aids, job descriptions, and communicate to staff any updates in a timely manner. Prepare and manage the human resources budget, and assist as directed with the Credit Union's strategic planning cycle.
|Qualifications:||The ideal candidate will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior interpersonal skills, solid experience in Microsoft programs, and familiarity with the principles of adult learning and with employment law. In addition, this position requires the ability to work with minimal supervision and to adapt to a changing work environment. To be considered, candidates must have good credit. Ability to work in a non-smoking environment is required. A degree in human resources management, a professional HR designation, or comparable experience is desired.|
